Rachel “Slider” Finch (played by Christina Reyes) was stationed aboard a naval carrier out of San Diego when the final war began to break out. Her ship was sunk, but lucky for her, the Invictus happened by when the whole thing happened. Rescued by Gabriel, Rachel Finch (call sign “Slider”) became a communications wiz and technical genius for Invictus. Her knowledge of warfare has proven to be a necessity while in the harsh piratical conditions of the Dark Horizon. Her loyalties are to that of her crew and her ship. Nothing else could possibly matter to this young and dangerous woman.

Christina Reyes is a regular to performing as a musician but is a stranger to the world of film, making her cinematic debut with Dark Horizon. In 2005 she was featured in the award-winning version of The Secret Garden at the Alexandra Nechita Center for the Arts and later in Godspell , which also received much praise. She received much recognition performing various selections as the role of “Elphaba” from Wicked on the exact same stage only months later. She has been attending the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles and has been featured in various music groups across Southern California. With an honest interest in acting and a passion for performance she put her best foot forward in the dramatic role of “Slider” in Dark Horizon . Christina, age 19, is in her third year at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where she also resides. A vocal major in music, Christina also plays the piano and dabbles in drums and guitar. She has more recently developed the art of jazz and bossanova singing and is currently composing songs for her untitled CD release. She is extremely proud of her work on Dark Horizon and calls it, “One of the best experiences of my life.”
